Cheryl Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is the owner of My Abundant Life Now Counseling Service based out of Long Beach, California. She focuses her practice in helping individuals, couples and families rebuild their lives, in addition to helping victims of suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety and other diagnosis.

Grace Nwaiwu, LMFT
Grace is a graduate of Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She has experience working with court-mandated clients, low-income populations, and faith-based communities, and is a Certified Anger Management Facilitator. In addition to being a therapist, Grace is also a seasoned educator who enjoys working with children and their families to solve problems and build stronger connections. She is bilingual in English and Igbo.
Nkechi Apakama, AMFT
Nkechi (En-kay-chi) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT140408) on the MALN team. She is an excellent listener, very patient, and she is quick in building rapport with clients. She warmly welcomes clients with a focus on providing them with the best therapeutic experience.
Nkechi has earned a master’s in psychology, marriage and family therapy and is currently earning a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. In addition to therapy work, she brings over 25 years of teaching experience as an educator.
Nkechi’s training, professional background and understanding of systems perspectives have shaped her therapeutic approach in working with children, teens, their families and adults. She has also worked with faith-based and diverse populated communities in various settings.
She is knowledgeable in using evidence-based practices, and has life experiences with marriage, grief, teaching, and family dynamics that have provided her with additional exposure to real life events.
Nkechi is bilingual in English and Igbo. Her goal is to create a safe space for clients to recreate their stories, explore their numerous possibilities, and improve their quality of life.
